Records Section

Overview

The Records Section is responsible for the review, control, maintenance, retrieval, and distribution of all original reports and documents. The Records Section also prepares and submits all fingerprints of arrested persons to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation.

Copy of Police or Crash Report

To obtain a copy of a police report or vehicle crash report, you can:

  • Stop by in person. A 10 cent per page fee is charged for in-person requests.
  • Request a copy via U.S. Mail. A 10 cent per page fee is required as well as a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of the report.
  • Request a copy online.

The Bowling Green Police Division does not accept report requests via fax or phone nor do we give report details over the phone.
